About

Maggie LeDuc | Sue Fuller | Reetsie Fuller

When Maggie first met Reetsie Fuller about 8 years ago at the Southwest Fine art show in Indio, Ca. she was participating in the art show at the time. She visited Maggie’s booth and introduced herself as a fellow gourd artist, and an award winning wood-burner. The following year, the two began participating in art shows together and became The Gourd Divas! They have been great friends ever since. Reetsie is a very patient and loving friend, who loves to share the creative process of gourd art with others. She’s currently teaching classes and workshops in the Indio area.

Maggie met Sue Fuller about 2 years ago through their membership in the Orange County Gourd Society. They immediately connected with their equal passion for creating gourd art, love of travel, and quickly became like family. They started putting their creative skills together; working together to create the best art pieces to share and sell to the public. Sue has won numerous awards for her art work. She is now a member of the Gourd Divas team. Sue, Reetsie and Maggie are now doing art shows together, sharing their individual skills and techniques with others, through workshops, classes and art shows. They have been blessed to share their creativity and friendship together. When Gourd Divas was created, it started a new chapter in their lives. They are now adventuring into social media, in order to share their art work and the creative process with others.

Weaving baskets and creating gourd art has been a life changing experience for the Gourd Divas. They love re-birthing and recycling pieces of natural fiber and materials into artwork, and sharing them with others. These are the Gourd Divas. We hope that you enjoy their art work and visit their art galleries on their Gourd Divas web site.
